Matthew S. Schaeffer, MD

Dr. Schaeffer is Board Certified in Family Medicine and holds Additional Certification in Primary Care Sports Medicine.  He attended Medical School at The Ohio State University and completed his Family Medicine Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Marshall University Medical Center in Hunnington, West Virginia.  His special area of interest, in addition to the general practice of Family Medicine, is Sports Medicine. Dr. Schaeffer is the team physician for Oberlin College Intramural Programs.  He sees patients of all ages in our Elyria Office and sees Sports Medicine and Sports Physical patients at our Sports Medicine Office in the EMH Healthplex in Avon.
